Climate Change and the Vulnerable Occupied Palestinian Territories

Two of the most commonly discussed responses to climate change are mitigation and adaptation. It is necessary that world continues mitigate greenhouse gases in atmosphere prevent severe effects change, but it just as important adaptation measures implemented prepare for unmitigable effects. With ongoing Israeli occupation—now reaching its fifty-third year—Palestinians Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT) prohibited from accessing resources pursuing repair their existing infrastructure or environmental change. As such, this Comment sheds light on voice, struggle, experience while examining impacts under occupation by analyzing environmental, political, legal, humanitarian Palestinians OPT.
